Good Night

Another fabulous day to end the great weekend. We went back to the Planetarium then bought the new Futurama movie and went home.

Planetarium grand opening

We were able to be apart of Nashville Adventure Science Center's grand opening of their Planetarium. News Channel 5 as well as the Mayor was here at this exciting ribbon cutting event. Lily had her fifth birthday party at the ASC, but it has grown even since then. This science center is amazing and a lot of fun. Jim bought us a membership yesterday so we'll be able to enjoy it for a year. Lily's friend, Madison was with us on this exciting day!

Friday Fun

Today was a good day. Even though my time at home is coming to an end, I'm trying to just focus on the time i do have and enjoy it. The days are really hot so we didn't take our daily walk outside today and instead went to Walmart and took a nice walk around. We came back home and headed to the movies and dinner with Jim. It's about 9:30 p.m. and Mark is really tired. I got a couple of pictures of him before i got on here. This weekend will be really fun. We're expecting thunderstorms so tomorrow Lily, Mark and I are heading off to the Adventure Science Center.

Happy Thursday!

We've had a pretty busy week which is the reason for the lack of posting. We've gone to lunch with friends almost every single day. Lily is also doing Mega Sports Camp which is almost like Vacation bible school with sports thrown in. She is having a great time with it!

Here are a couple of pictures from today. First one is of Mark during his tummy time as he is trying to strengthen his little neck and the other is Lily holding him. She begs to hold him everyday so she gets her once a day :)

Happy Saturday!

Today has been a great day. We played with our friends at the Wave Country in Nashville. It was a great time. We made it home in good time because it started storming and hailing. Before our friend Ashlyn came over I gave Mark his first shower. He had been getting baths before, but I think he enjoyed the shower just a little more. I remember giving Lily her first shower at 7 weeks. :)

Father's Day & Recital

On Sunday, Lily performed again and did another great job. She was a trooper. After the performance, we took Jim to one of his favorite restaurants to celebrate his Father's Day.







Saturday was the first recital and celebration of Father's Day with Jim's Dad. Lily did a great job and we had a yummy dinner.

Rehearsal

We finished up the last of our rehearsal days yesterday. Lily has a dance recital on Saturday and Sunday. Unfortunately they do not allow flash photographer and video cameras, so I'll have to purchase a DVD. I'm going to try and sneak my camera in and take as many non-flash photos as i can.

Nothing much going on today. I've been running around all week I was hoping to rest a little bit today.

It hailed yesterday!

Finally!

I finally got out the baby announcements yesterday! Woohoo! I want to say that i'm proud that i sent out 50 baby announcements, but since Mark is 5 weeks old today I'm going to hold my own applause. The announcements are worth waiting for. Two different ones were sent out yesterday and Kate made one of them. She is fabulous and did such an awesome job.

5 weeks old today! Wow, where did the time go? Mark is feeling better today. He still gets a little fussy with bad gas, but his congestion seems to have gone away. Yay! Lily is off to a family reunion with Grandma and Papa, so the weekend is mine and Marks to have. We'll rest one more day and maybe tomorrow we'll make a trip out to Daddy's work and have lunch.

Look for your announcement in the mail. I addressed them and hopefully remembered stamps on all of them and had a girlfriend drop them off at the post office. Please let me know if you don't receive yours. Everyone in my address book should have received one :)

Poor little man isn't feeling very well today. Sounds like he has some drainage going on and his tummy is upset. We may need to visit the dr after his nap.

Lily went out with her friends Alex & Genna while I stayed home to take care of Mark. He looks so peaceful sleeping. I just wish he felt better.

At one month old, Mark is 8.7 lbs.
