Mark's Allergy test

Mark is allergic to absolutely Nothing! I guess this is a good thing, but it just means that we have to figure out what else could be wrong. The allergest says he has a chronic condition which is causing him to be congested all the time. I need to take him back to the ear, nose & throat specialist for that. The other problem is most likely caused by extremely sensative skin. I am going to try everything for sensative skin, make sure he always has sunscreen on (for sensative skin) and a hat on in the summer. Besides washing his clothes separately and keeping his skin coated with sunscreen there really isn't anything else I'm going to do. His skin is releasing hystimines at the drop of a hat, so we are going to try Singulair for a month to see if this helps. Cross your fingers!

Lily's 1st private swim lesson

She did a great job! She has never put her head under the water for more than a second and the swim instructor got her to float on her tummy for 5 seconds by the end of the 30 minute lesson. She said Lily is definitely not afraid and followed instruction well. Shouldn't take more than a month or so with 2 lessons per week to get her to swim like a fish. Thank goodness!

Sunday Cleaning Day

On our Sunday cleaning day, we put up Lily's new bed. I got a great deal on this slightly used bunk bed. She loves it! We steamed cleaned her carpets and put up her new bed.

Saturday at the Splash Pad

A perfect hot day for water.

Yea, I'm cool

Mark is rocking out with his Aruba shirt he got from Aunt Lora & Uncle Len. He is definitely Too cool for school.

Thankful Thursday

As always, there are just so many things that I am grateful for. I am so very grateful for all of the love and support I get from all of my friends and family. Without them, I may have fallen to pieces a few times.

I am also thankful for
  • My beautiful kids and the one on the way!
  • So far I'm feeling great with this pregnancy!
  • Having flexibility to be able to leave and take poor Mark to all of his dr appointments, but also grateful that we have an appointment scheduled to figure out what's wrong!

I could go on forever...

Tonight is Lily's very first swim lesson! I am very excited. I hope she likes and trusts this woman and we'll start her on weekly lessons.

Saturday at Grandma and Grandpa's

Mark had a fun day at Grandma and Grandpa's while Mommy and Daddy played a round of golf. And by a round I mean Mommy played 6 holes and Daddy played 9. :) As soon as I get my pictures downloaded, I will get them on the site! Lily was with the other Grandma and Grandpa camping! I'll post those pictures soon too!

Mommy & Mark's Thursday off

On the way home from work on Wednesday evening I got a call from the daycare saying Mark had an allergic reaction (again), but this time his fever spiked to 101 and he was laying on the floor.

I had to get Mark over to the dr this morning and the earliest they could get him in was 11. I told the Dr. I was ready to just do the allergy tests. We had put it off long enough and I didn't want it to get as bad as his ears did. Mark has bad allergic reactions with shortness of breath along with rashes that cover his trunk, back, neck, face, etc. and now he is getting a fever along with it. No more waiting, we're getting the allergy tests.

We spoke to the allergist today and made an official appointment to get poked all over on June 30th. He started feeling much better around 4:30 when he woke up from his nap. We picked up Lily and since it was still 100 degrees, we decided to get out the slip n slide! Here are some photos!

Then we had some strawberry shortcake!

**Deep Breath**

14 weeks, due December 16th.
6 months from today exactly. Since I will have a c-section, she will look at 10 days earlier we are at 5 months and some. No problem! It will be great. I'll have a new baby just in time for Christmas. Merry Christmas to us! :)
