Pregnancy update - Halfway through!

(I am retarded and can't take a picture of my face & tummy, so you get two pictures to prove that's me!)



It's hard to believe I found out just 5 short weeks ago I was expecting. *chuckle* Wow, halfway through already! This is awesome! This pregnancy has been easy peasy so far! Besides my pinched nerve, I'm great! My OB did want me to go see an Orthopedic dr to make sure my nerves were ok, so I did that yesterday and it was confirmed that I do have a pinched nerve, possibly 2. He put me on limited activity and told me I was lucky I didn't damage my nerve by "pushing through the pain" in my last pregnancy. I worked right up until Mom & Dad landed at the airport...this time I may listen and rest when I need to. I am cleared to work full time unless I'm unable to sit for long periods of time. Whew! I need to work as long as I possibly can, so that's good.

That is my update so far. I have a lot of work to do to get the upstairs ready for his/her arrival. We will be finding out the sex of the baby on August 11th @ 2:00 p.m. This is when Jim could get off work. 3 weeks from today. Mark your calendars!

Weekend at Beech Bend!

We had a great weekend! Left my camera at my office, so these are what I was able to get with my camera phone :)

Yay for Friday!!!

Great day so far! Jim is off tomorrow, so we are taking a family trip to Bowling Green, KY. Although only about an hour and a half away from Nashville, we are staying in a hotel and enjoying our time away from the daily grind. We're going to Beech Bend for both days and are really excited!

The 4th!

We had great plans of having a picnic, playing games and listening to great music prior to watching a fantastic fireworks show. Well...the weather had different plans for us, but we were able to enjoy a great picnic and the kids had a lot of fun playing ball. The storm headed towards Murfreesboro and we were soaked to the bone as we packed up the car around 8:00 p.m. We came back home and let off some fireworks and Lily played with sparklers. It was a great forth and definitely memorable!

Friday evening

Evening of the 3rd we grilled out and had Judy over for some food and fireworks. We bought our own and watched the neighborhood show.

4th of July weekend starts on Friday!

Went over to Kate's house for some yummy pizza and fun time in the pool!
