Our Weekend

We had another fantastic weekend. For the past week my very good friend, Christina and her daughter Briana have been staying with us while they try to rent their house. We were so happy to have Briana join us at a birthday party on Saturday afternoon. We went to an art studio where the instructor goes step by step on a painting chosen by the birthday girl/boy. It was a lot of fun!  Mark had to join in at the end for cake, of course. :) Grandma reminded me that there weren't enough pictures of Lily on the blog...so the post below is loaded with Lily pictures :)

On Saturday we spent just about the whole day shopping with two of our favorite people. Great deals and great friends, couldn't ask for more!

Mark's non-gymnastics class

I decided to find an outlet for Mark to channel all of his energy to and the options are very limited when you're 2. It was either dance class or gymnastics...excuse me "Tumbling" , therefore Mark had his very first tumbling class last Thursday at ETC (Everything Through Christ). Anyone who knows Mark knows that he loves to tumble about the house. He even does sommersaults on the hardwood floor. He absolutely loved the class and was upset when it was over. He had a hard time listening at first, but he quickly caught on. The teacher worked with him and he even made a new friend. I put Lily in ballet when she was 2, so it's only fair that I make an investment in Mark especially if he loves it. We get another free class this upcoming Thursday, so we will decide for sure if he will continue.
