Monday evening

While in the kitchen I overheard Mark trying to get Lily to turn a show on for him. He started yelling and I told him to quit yelling. He then took himself into the playroom where he got his accordion and began to play it in her ear while saying "Lily - wake up!" I couldn't get my phone out quick enough. I was laughing so hard. Here is the end of Mark's attempt to get Lily to turn on a show for him....

So full of character

Why so many pictures of Elizabeth, you ask? Because she begs me to take her picture. She's so funny about it. "take Ella picture again!" she says. Here is a series of shots I took and she posed herself for each one....

Happy Birthday, Lily!

Lily turned 10 on the 18th and on Saturday we celebrated with a big party at the house. Lily had a great time. As usual, about 20 of her (closest) friends came to celebrate. Our house was FULL! 12 girls stayed the night. It was a great time for all. Lily definitely went into the double digits in style. Thank you to everyone who helped make her birthday party memorable!!

Pictures below were taken by Cindy & Reno. I had no time to take any, unfortunately, but i'm lucky to have wonderful people there to take them for me!

Sunday Morning

Just another beautiful Sunday morning at the Morgan's. By 10:00 am we have watched two movies, played two games and ate breakfast and a snack. Mommy is a little tired.

They get to see Granny and Papa today and they are both very excited.

Almost time for nap! I may be right there with them! :)

Happy Sunday!

Work trip

One of the great benefits to my job is the travel. Although I miss my kids terribly, it's great to go places I've never been before. I'm at DCA waiting on my flight. We finished up early today so I took a stroll down 17th, Pennsylvania Avenue & Constitution. This is by far one of my most favorite trips of all time. The monuments are so much more than I expected. Really amazing.
