Our Sunday Evening

After I cook dinner, Lily & Daddy wash the dishes while Mommy puts Mark in the bath.

Mark is very independent, so I make him think that he is doing all the work *wink wink*

Elizabeth loves attention so I drug out Mark's Johnny Jump up to see if it would keep her happy...and it did!

She loved it so much she fell asleep in it! :)
Good night from the Morgans!

Happy Sunday!

This weekend was very low key for us. On Saturday, Lily had her baseball evaluations. She did such a great job! Jim practiced with her while I waited in line. It wasn't a try-out because every kid makes a team, it just evaluates each one's skills so all the heavy hitters aren't put on one team. It was about 30 degrees and windy during try-outs, but I think she still had a lot of fun.

Today we are vegging and watching movies. Mark woke up from nap and we had a Tom Petty concert on the TV. Here are two videos of Mark & Elizabeth.

Here is Elizabeth talking away and Mark trying to hog all the camera time.

These two videos are of Mark rockin out to Tom Petty. (That's my son!)

At home with Camila...

Jim joined me at work today, so Camila was home alone with the kids. Here are a couple of pictures she sent to my phone :)

Ash Wednesday

So, this year I will be giving up cokes (all sodas) and Lily will be giving up whining. Lent started yesterday and when I got home from work, Camila told me what a great job Lily did not whining...said she only whined about 5-6 times. She's working on it at least!

Happy Valentine's Day!

We had a great Valentine's Day! We went with our friends on a short road trip to Chattanooga and road the train and had a 4 course meal while going through an interesting part of town. The company was excellent!
Grandma Reno & Big Daddy Jim watched the kids for us and they had a fun time too! We really appreciate them helping out and we were able to have a great time and not worry about a thing!
We hope everyone had a fabulous Valentine's Day!
Love you!

Valentine's Day Cards

I sent out my yearly Valentine's Day cards on Wednesday. I love me some Valentine's Day. It is my 3rd favorite Holiday. Whether you feel like it's a holiday invented by the greeting card & jewelry companies or you feel like people should express their love everyday and not just once a year, I am sorry that you can't have as much fun as I do on this day :) I do express love everyday, but let's be honest, people take others for granted...even I'm guilty of that....and I do love me some dark chocolate. Hehe. This is a day to just appreciate the ones you love. It's kind of like Lent...yes you should always be reflecting and praying (if that's what you believe), but Lent is the time of year it is remembered and celebrated. Speaking of Lent...Fat Tuesday is next week! I'll be giving up soda for Lent, so I will be giving my family extra love on Sunday in preparation for bad moods they may see for a few days next week.
Love to Everyone!!! Enjoy your weekend!

Last day at home..**sniff**

picture compliments of my favorite Kate

I'm going back to work tomorrow and I will miss my babies' faces all day long. I enjoy each maternity leave, but I have to say I've enjoyed this one over all of them. I was able to be home with all 3 of them and it has been great. I'm in awe of mothers who not only are financially able to stay home, but are also able to remain sane in the process. Going to work is so much easier (aside from having to leave them with a daycare). Just the work that goes into staying home...watching the kids, keeping the house in some kind of order, feeding, playing, doing homework, listening to crying and yelling and uh-oh's, not to mention when all of them need you at the same time. It is hard work and I've always respected the ones who have not only done it, but done it well. I spend my time at work for 50 hours a week so by the time I get home I love seeing them and I don't mind the "Mama, Mama, Mama, Mommy, Mama, Mama...." "What Mark? "Hi!" - (typical Mark behavior when I'm ignoring him.)

Off to enjoy my last day with my kids! I hope everyone has a fabulous day as well!

Monday Night 2/8/10

Another snow storm going through Murfreesboro. This one hit really fast and in 20 minutes our ground & roads were covered. Lily went to Girlscouts last night and Mark enjoyed the snow coming down. The flakes were the size of silver dollars. Here is a picture of Mark & Jim trying to catch the flakes in their mouths.
Some of you were having issues with my uploaded videos on here, so I'm trying youtube to see if it's better. He is a video of Mark rushing out when he saw the snow coming down. You'll notice he doesn't have a coat on, but for us it really wasn't that cold, so don't call me a bad mom just yet. Haha. I made him put a coat on after taking this video.

I take the pictures, but do not enjoy being cold, so the pictures are always from the doorstep and I enjoy my time in the nice warm house :)
The snow is very pretty. As quick as it came and covered, it was gone by the morning and Lily had to go to school. Boo.
