Resolutions

I am just going to talk about one of my resolutions and an awesome Christmas present I got that is helping me along my way!

Effenciency in all parts of my life. I am pretty efficient at work so this is the year to become efficient at home with the family and family life including, but not limited to the dreaded housework. Anyway, I asked for a flipfold for Christmas and this $20 wonder has done so many amazing things that I had to share. Today I cleaned out Lilys disgusting - almost 13 year old girl room and redid all of her drawers. 

Before - this is how Lilys shirt drawer was laid out. 

After - she can now tell which shirt she wants to pick out of the drawer without having to mess anything up and that mess only took up half of the actual space. I finished the laundry and filled the space. It looks awesome. 

I also did jims clothes and it worked great!

Yay for new drawers and a new way of folding laundry!

Surgery

Sweet Mark had his 3rd surgery today. Tubes and adenoidectomy. To spare you the scary details, he made it out of the surgery just fine and is hearing much better. He was even holding his ears with the loud noises. He was just as upset as he was the first time coming out as anyone who has ever been put under knows - anesthesia is just no fun. We will be keeping a close eye on his ears for a while. He has just inherited bad ears from his mom. Can't do much about bad genes. Poor kid.

One thing I am truly grateful for is that our kids love animals and are loved in return by their animals.

December 20th

By this time I would have trimmed the tree, had decorations up day after thanksgiving and cards out but we are just now getting to trimming to our tree this year. We decided to put in hardwood floors and I am so glad we did. They are so beautiful. I'm ready to do the rest of the house! :)
