Just another June Weekend

1 week after our trip and our lives are just starting to get back to a normal routine. It took just about 5 days to get the kids sleeping on a normal bed time schedule after 8 days of closing down parks and eating at 9 p.m.. We arrived home safely on Sunday evening. Monday was the bad storm that left partial trees standing in the front yard. Saffy had to go back in for her check up and they put her on new meds to try to lessen the swelling in her tail. We recently found out (the day after Nero passed) that Saffy has among many other things - spondolosis which is the fusion of her vertebrae and hers is down the spine at the bag through the top part of her tail. In her case, it caused severe pain and swelling. To top it off she also has a separation or dislocation at the top of her tail. They can't fix this issue until the swelling is taken care of. The pain has decreased at least.
She still looks like a happy puppy. :)

Saturday was Lily's farewell end of season softball party. I may have forgotten to tell Jim that it was a sleepover, so that was a fun realization moment for him.
Today is Father's Day and after driving Lily to Tullahoma we were able to enjoy the second half of the day with no company.

I'm looking forward to this week of calm and relaxing evenings at home with no plans.

I hope everyone had a fantastic weekend and Happy Father's Day to all the Daddys out there!
